The Government of St. Kitts & Nevis has introduced a mandatory biometric enrolment requirement for all citizens.
This programme is designed to modernise passports in line with evolving international standards and to strengthen identity verification and global confidence in the programme.
ALL CITIZENS MUST COMPLETE ENROLMENT BY 31 JULY 2027
Failure to comply will result in passport deactivation.

What is it?
The Biometric Enrolment Programme requires all citizens to complete an in-person appointment where biometric data is securely captured and linked to their passport.

This process ensures that passports meet modern international security standards and remain valid for global travel. It is a regulated Government process, which must be completed through a licensed Authorised Agent.

How does this affect my citizenship?
Your citizenship remains permanent and fully secure. This programme relates solely to your passport, not your legal citizenship status.
Passports must now be aligned with biometric standards
Failure to complete enrolment by 31 July 2027 will result in passport deactivation
This means international travel will not be possible until enrolment is completed
Citizenship remains valid. Passport validity is now conditional on biometric enrolment.
